The Marine Corps League Auxiliary, Mickey Finn Detachment Chapter was chartered on May 29, 1969 as a subsidiary organization of the National Auxiliary and Marine Corps League. On August 25, 1950, The National Auxiliary was incorporated under the laws of the District of Columbia as an affiliate of the Marine Corps League. The Auxiliary was formed for the purposes of promoting the interests of the U. S. Marine Corps, the Marine Corps League and to protect and advance the welfare of Marines and their dependents. Auxiliary members participate in a wide variety of programs that benefit and preserve the fundamental rights and freedoms of every person of this Nation, young and old. Information for the Auxiliary
Monthly meetings are conducted on the second Tuesday of each month at 1900 (7:00 pm) at the Marine Corps League Mickey Finn’s Detachment. Eligibility for Regular Membership in the Marine Corps League Auxiliary: Women Marines, former Women Marines, Wives, Widows, Mothers, Daughters, Grandmothers, Granddaughters, Sisters, Stepmothers, Step-daughters, Daughters-in Law and Aunts of a Marine, former Marine or FMF Corpsman eligible to belong to the Marine Corps League (not less than 16 years of age). Eligibility for Associate Membership in the Marine Corps League Auxiliary: If you do not qualify for Regular Membership, you may apply for an Associate Membership (not less than 16 years of age).
